Massive mistake I think. There must be many people, like myself, who live on the edge of areas covered by The Citizen and The Echo and could see everything in one place. To split that down means just one thing for me - I won't bother looking at either in future. I don't have the time to trawl multiple sites for news.

Looking at the new site, i cant seem to sort by number of comments made on a story (is it just because there are no comments there?). It is useful to me because i find the comments are often more interesting or humorous than the story itself. I fear that not building a community-based website(s) around its userbase is going to be the death of it when it is so heavily reliant on traffic to generate revenue. Also agree with Mikehibby and Jackass.

well this site has changed since the relaunched version. News have been in wrong area's and categories and hardly any FOD news. Still a shame to see it go.

Maybe Gloucester News Centre (facebook page) could take over the domain?

YEAH! I have trouble reading it too, but that won't bother them because they don't read it.

The font colour is so pale that I have to get much closer to the screen to read the articles clearly.
