Two people remain in 'serious but stable' condition after A48 car crash and late night Gloucester brawl

Two Gloucestershire people remain in ‘serious’ conditions in hospital.

A 72-year-old woman involved in a fatal car crash on the A48 at Lensbrook on December 27 remains in a ‘serious but stable’ condition according to Gloucestershire Police.

Tania Manka and Shayne Witts, in the other car, died.

In a separate incident, an 18-year-old man who was assaulted as he walked along Central Road, in Gloucester, at 3.30am on December 29, also remains in a ‘serious but stable’ condition.

He had been involved in a fight and as a result of this he sustained head injuries and was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol where he remains.

Dominik Webb, 19, from Worcester Place was charged with grievous bodily harm and Brendan Fenemore, 20, of Shakespeare Avenue, was charged with affray and appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates on December 31.
