Yuletide-loving Ernie and Josie Talbot have switched on their biggest Christmas lights display ever.
The Longlevens couple are famed for bringing a festive glow to Gloucester.
People young and old come from far and wide to see the illuminations covering their Ogbourne Close home.
They are hoping their efforts will once again see them named winner of The Citizen's Christmas Sparkler competition.
We are looking for the best dressed festive home around.
Ernie and Josie started their annual display more than three decades ago.
Christmas has always been a big celebration as their children Jane, Carol and John were all born within a week of December 25.
Josie said: "Over the years it has just grown and grown.
"We have kept it going because we are just big kids ourselves.
"All the old people come on minibuses to see it and the children just love it.
"One little girl comes every night at least four times."
Ernie spent seven weeks putting all the decorations in place and they were lit up on December 1.
This year a family of penguins and polar bears have joined the festive scene.
Josie said: "It would be nice to win but it's not about the competition for us.
"It's about seeing the children's faces light up."
Ernie dresses up as Father Christmas every night and will be in the garden greeting visitors right up until December 23.
The couple will be donating any money raised to Milestone School and Acorns.
Entries are still open for the Christmas Sparkler competition and the winner will be awarded £100 of Gloucester Quays vouchers.
To enter fill out the coupon printed in tomorrow's Citizen and send it back to us by Thursday.
