Homebuyers and sellers in Gloucestershire can find the right home for them with the launch of our new property portal.
This week the Gloucestershire Echo, Gloucester Citizen and Stroud Life have unveiled a property search portal with emphasis on providing unrivalled local information.
The new portals, at gloucestershireecho.co.uk/property, gloucestercitizen.co.uk/property and stroudlife.co.uk/property, have a range of features.
They include a search facility for new homes, properties for sale and to rent, up-to-date property stories in the county, plus a list of key estate agents and developers.
Sacha Cresswell, manager at Philip Pugh and Partners in Cheltenham, said the new portal was a welcome move that would be appreciated by those living in the county.
"In today's society, when everyone is a lot more technological and the Gloucestershire Echo site is so popular with people, a property portal where you can find local information is very important for people. Especially those living in the county."
Chris Gooch, sales and lettings director at Steve Gooch Estate Agents, said local information included on the portal would provide a "key part" of people's moving process.
He said: "It's very, very important and it's definitely something people want. That's why they like to use a local estate agent, for information on schools, clubs and other things. It's a key part of the searching process.
The portal also includes popular locations in different areas of the county, finance advice and property alerts.
Paul Wiltshire, commercial director at Gloucestershire Media, added: "We are very excited about the launch of our new property portals which will serve home movers across the county with unrivalled local information and tools to help make their search as easy as possible.
"With our strong relationship with Gloucestershire estate agents and developers, it really will be the place to go to find whatever type of home you are looking for."
