Get ready to join in Stroud Goodwill Evening’s lantern procession on Friday December 6.

The procession starts from Stroud’s Subscription Rooms at about 6.15pm.

“We would welcome lanterns made in any theme, the bigger the better. You could get together with a group and make a big one to represent who you are,” suggested Lis Parker of the Goodwill team. “Schools, youth groups and colleges please feel free to get involved. We will provide willow and tissue to make traditional lanterns in magnificent shapes.”

Artists are also available to run workshops for schools or groups. Stroud Goodwill Evening will have stall at the Stroud Farmers market on Saturday 30 November where people can pick up free materials and instructions for making a lantern. Call Lis on 07754059768 for more details.
