What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?

A walk around Gloucester Docks in the sun and lunch at a good pub before catching a match in The Shed, plus a few drinks out with friends.

And your favourite place to eat out in the county?

I love Sebz in Gloucester for tapas and Hilltop. I am also a big fan of Made by Bob at Cirencester and Curry Corner in Cheltenham

What's the worst job you've had?

Cold calling for free carpet shampoo demonstrations. I was truly awful.

Have you got any unusual habits?

Not really, but I am a bit OCD about plugs. Have to switch them off properly and go round double checking them – gets a bit annoying

Who is your hero and why?

My parents. They quit their jobs to turn a hobby into a business and it has gone on to be a really successful company. They did all this while raising three children and are still together after 43 years of marriage.

What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?

I love Pride and Prejudice and Catch 22, but Jilly Cooper's Polo is also well thumbed! Can't beat a bit of Rupert Campbell-Black.

The last film you watched?

I recently watched the Perks of Being A Wallflower on DVD which was just brilliant.

First single/record you ever bought?

Frankie, by Sister Sledge

Facebook or Twitter? (And what is your twitter handle/name?)

I use both but I really like Twitter as it is so immediate and great for comment and stories. Follow me @JennyEGlos

Self promotion or just desperation to keep this tired feature going? Time for some new ideas I think.
