PENSIONERS were in for a special afternoon of entertainment at St Oswald's Retirement Village thanks to a visit from pupils at The King's Junior School.

Children gave a half-hour performance of their favourite songs, a follow-up from the school's Christmas performance at Castlemeads Court.

School director of music Catherine Sawyer said: "It was a great way to end the half term. We look forward to doing more as the children really enjoy singing."
