Rosie Williams, aged ten, from Prestbury, and Exmoor Pony Gaoth were in winning form at the Summerhouse Equestrian Centre Eventer Challenge.
The course consisted of first jumping a course of show jumps and then jumping a course of rustic fences against the clock.
Rider Rosie and pony Gaoth standing at just 12.2 hands high took first place in a class of 29 in the 2ft 3ins class.
Their confidence together has grown in leaps and bounds and this showed in the 2ft 6 class where they were first in a class of more than 40 ponies and horses.
Rosie has been riding Gaoth for just over a year and together with his other regular rider, Meg Partridge from Gloucester they accumulated a massive total of 8759 in the 2012 Exmoor Pony Society Pony Performance award with their nearest rival accumulating 2535.
Points are awarded for ridden classes/activities and the pony with the highest total over the year is the winner.
