Former Forest Green favourite Yan Klukowski has secured his desired move to the Football League, joining Newport County on a two-year deal.
Attacking midfielder Klukowski scored 49 league goals in four seasons at the New Lawn, making him Rovers' all-time leading scorer in the Conference.
The 27-year-old was offered a new contract by Ady Pennock but opted to explore other options, and he moves to Rodney Parade alongside ex-Rovers defender Darren Jones.
Newport boss Justin Edinburgh said: “I said I wanted to provide quality and depth to the defence and midfield as we are strong at present with attacking options.
“It is great to get two targets I have been following for a while and the squad is shaping up nicely prior to pre-season.”
