A young woman was taken to hospital following a crash in Stroud this morning.
The 22-year-old’s blue Citroen C1 was believed to have slipped on ice before crashing into railings.
She was extracted from the car, registered to Stonehouse, by firefighters before being taken to hospital.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The crash on the B4070 took place just before 9am this morning.
The road remained closed until 10.30am.
No other vehicles were involved.
