IT'S snow joke... the wintry weather is making a comeback this weekend.
Snow warnings have been issued for the county by forecasters at the Met Office.
A smattering of the white stuff could come as early as 6am tomorrow.
But first, today will be a largely wet day with temperatures of just 3C.
Teams of gritters from Gloucestershire Highways are on alert in case the cold snap strikes again overnight.
A spokeswoman said: "Highways gritters were out from 6pm last night on all A, B and some C roads as well as routes to emergency services.
"We will be reviewing the situation on a daily basis to decide whether the gritters need to be out on the roads."
But if the snow doesn't materialise, a battering of heavy rain can be expected instead.
It is unlikely to cause any significant flooding,
Dave Throup, regional manager for the Environment Agency, has predicted snow will come on Monday as temperatures drop.
