Welsh gold mine fraud-accused in court

A MAN accused of a £12,000 Welsh gold mine fraud has appeared in court.

Barkley John Cossins-Price, 39, is accused of fraudulently selling a lease on Gwynfynydd gold mine in Cheltenham between October 1 and November 2, 2011.

Cossins-Price, of Worsley Avenue, Warrington, Cheshire pleaded not guilty at Stroud Magistrates’ Court today.

The case was adjourned and sent to Gloucester Crown Court where the next hearing will be held on April 4.
