Clear skies that were enjoyed over the weekend are likely to disappear this week, with wet and overcast conditions returning to Gloucestershire.
Temperatures will remain in the high teens but the recent sunshine will be missing, it has been predicted.
A Met Office forecaster said: “Showers are spreading northeast, although it is likely to remain warm.
“Many areas starting dry and bright with some hazy sunshine but showers probably reaching the southwest by mid-morning, with a band of heavy and potentially thundery showers spreading northeast across the region this afternoon.
“Feeling pleasantly warm in mostly light winds. Maximum temperature will 18 °C.”
