SPIDERS, butterflies and googly-eyed bugs were just a few of the things children had fun making at the Creepy House crafts event at Churchdown Library.

Twenty children attended the event and library assistant Anona Youngson said: "It was really enjoyable. It was a fun, lively session."

The younger kids enjoyed making googly-eyed bugs, and the older ones made spider webs from templates.

Anona said: "Events like this allow children's imaginations to run wild which is why they enjoy it so much."

The craft session was just one of a number of events that are part of Gloucestershire Library's summer reading challenge.
