DANNY WELBECK – Hull are thought to be interested in bringing Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck to the KC Stadium in a club record £14m deal. It isn’t clear whether United have any intention of selling Welbeck, as they lack forward options already and especially if other striker Javier Hernandez is set to leave Old Trafford.

JACK CORK – Jack Cork is set to be the next out of Southampton as Crystal Palace have bid £3m for the English midfielder, which is thought to have been accepted. Cork is following fellow compatriots Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw out of the club as the mass exodus at St. Mary’s is still in full flow.

GIUSEPPE ROSSI – Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is interested in bringing Fiorentina’s former Manchester United forward Giuseppe Rossi to Anfield. Rodgers wants to add more firepower and depth to his growing squad and sees Rossi as the ideal candidate. However, there are concerns over Rossi’s history of injuries as he missed five months last season.

ANDRE SCHURRLE – Atletico Madrid have opened talks to bring Chelsea’s German forward Andre Schurrle to the Spanish capital as they look to replace top goal-scorer Diego Costa, who moved to Chelsea last month for a £32m fee. Chelsea are reluctant to see the German leave but due to their excess of forwards, a bid of £25m could tempt them to sell.
