Tewkesbury man, 22, dies from head injuries after serious car crash in Twyning

A 22-YEAR-OLD man whose car collided with a telegraph pole on the A38 in Twyning on April 23 sadly died yesterday evening.

The man, from Tewkesbury, passed away in Frenchay Hospital around 11pm after suffering head injuries when the car he was travelling in, a red Renault Clio, left the carriageway as it was travelling towards the M50.

He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital before being transferred to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.

A 20-year-old man from Tewkesbury who was also in the car suffered minor injuries.

The Coroner's Office is being informed.

Anyone who witnessed the collision who hasn't spoken to police is urged to call 101, quoting incident 35 of April 23.
