New reality TV show The Jump starts on Channel 4 tonight - starring Stroud's Eddie the Eagle.
He is coaching celebrities in some of the most challenging winter sports.
It comes in the run-up to the Winter Olympics in Sochi, we have Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave lining up against former cricketer (and Strictly Come Dancing star) Darren Gough, comedian Marcus Brigstocke, model Melinda Messenger, presenter Anthea Turner and former popstar and X Factor darling Sinitta.
Former TOWIE star Amy Childs, hairdress Nicky Clarke, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Hyatt, A Place In the Sun presenter (and former Dancing on Ice constestant) Laura Hamilton and socialite Henry Conway also take part.
Among the sports they will be trying their hands at include bobsleigh, speed skating and slalom ski-ing.
Instead of a sing off, dance off, or public vote, two contestants will face a live ski jump to see who gets to stay another week.
In the first episode, six of the stars tackle the opening event – the skeleton.
Marcus Brigstocke said in an interview this week: "We’ve had some very severe injuries, a few broken bones. All I can say with a big smile on my face – not smugly but with relief – is that so far I’m fine.”
It involves lying down with your chin one centimetre off the ice and zooming down a run at up to 100 kilometres per hour.
They’ve been trained for this challenge by Bath’s Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams.
Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards is the man put in charge of coaching, while Davina McCall and Alex Brooker present.
The Jump airs on Channel 4 at 8pm on Sunday 26 January
