Culture from the deep south of America was at the heart of Guildhall celebrations as a Cajun dance party got into full swing over the weekend.

Three days of live music kicked off on Friday, with opening slots at the Guildhall filled by Whiskey River and the Swamp Rock DJs.

Tips on how to move in true Cajun style were rolled out at a special dance workshop with Satu and Kay on Saturday, followed up with music from The Boat Band and the Cajun Roosters.

The Creole Brothers took to the stage on Sunday afternoon and Phil Underwood hosted a performance of Zydeco Dance before the Zydeco Diamonds took to the stage.
