STUDENTS demonstrated new skills to mark the completion of a Prince’s Trust course on Wednesday.
Nine Year 11 pupils at Severn Vale School, in Quedgeley recently completed a one-year Prince’s Trust course and they gave a demonstration to parents at Skillzone, in Tuffley.
Part of the course involved eight-weeks of training with the Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
Allison Selwyn, Prince’s Trust Advisor at Severn Vale, said: “They have learnt so much over the year, from team building, life skills and enterprise skills.
“It has been heartwarming to see them turn from Year 10 pupils who weren’t sure what they wanted to do after school to focussed young adults.”
The youngsters were presented with certificates from the Prince’s Trust, Prospect Training and the fire and rescue service.
