Three Stroud men admit drugs charges after death of Nick Bonnie

THREE Stroud men have pleaded guilty to drugs charges after the death of Nick Bonnie.

James Churchill, 30, of Selsley West admitted charges of supplying Class A drugs, when he appeared yesterday at Manchester Crown Court.

Paul Tabb, 30, of Stanley View, and Dean Neale, 29, of Moseley Crescent, also admitted possession of Class A drugs at the same hearing.

All three, plus Simon Lloyd-Jones, 29, of Foxmoor Lane, Stroud, denied perverting the course of justice, and will stand trial on June 24.

Mr Bonnie, who grew up in King’s Stanley died on September 28 last year after taking a suspected bad batch of the illegal Class A drug Ecstasy. He collapsed at the Warehouse nightclub in Trafford, and later died at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
