AN organisational shake-up at Tewkesbury Borough Council will help save £500,000 from its operating budget.
The review will see changes including a new corporate leadership team appointed and eight group manager posts to the overall management team.
Savings will be made from a net loss of 11 full-time posts and is part of a drive by the council to make £1.5 million of savings for 2013/14.
A one-off cost of the re-organisation of up to £790,000 is expected to be clawed back within 18 months.
Staff and trade unions have been consulted throughout the process.
