Could you be Gloucester’s mystery millionaire?
A dashing butler from the National Lottery arrived at the city’s railway station complete with giant £1million cheque and suitcase ready to meet his millionaire master.
The city holds a mystery millionaire after the lucky person matched a EuroMillion Millionaire raffle ticket.
They bought the ticket at an unknown lottery vendor in the city for the draw on July 26.
The winning raffle code is CBW665037.
It comes just a day after the county’s second millionaire in a week was revealed as 29-year-old Emma Wildin, from Cinderford.
She followed in the footsteps of 76-year-old Bream great grandmother Jennifer Hancocks also scooped the same prize.
Butler Richard Croughan – better known as ‘Benson’ – said: “We are hoping that in the next few days we will find our millionaire.
“I am ready to be this lucky winner’s butler – I can do most household tasks such as cleaning and folding pants.
“We made 100 people millionaires on the same night and we have already found 88 of them, so our Gloucester winner is one of 12 mystery people.”
The winner will have until 11pm on Wednesday, January 22 to make their claim.
If the prize is not claimed it will go to the National Lottery’s Good Causes charity.
A spokeswoman for the National Lottery said: “Imagine walking round not knowing you are a millionaire. We urge every player to check their tickets as there are life changing prizes waiting to be claimed.
“The clock is now ticking for the Gloucester ticket holder.”
The lucky winner can call the National Lottery on 0845 910 0000 to claim their prize.
