Runners prepare for today's Tredworth Road Race

Runners in Gloucester are pulling on their trainers ahead of the Tredworth Road Race.

The popular annual event will go ahead on Easter Monday from 11.15am, starting from the New Victory Hotel in High Street, Tredworth.

It will be the 68th running of the event.

There will also be a children’s race with Easter eggs for those who take part.

Registration for the run opens at 10.30am and all are welcome to enter.

In 2013 Lydbrook teenager Kyran Hale won the race for the fourth successive year
