Fancy welcoming an Alien into your living room?
Motorcycle components have been made into a coffee table depicting the iconic monster from Ridley Scott's films and it's on sale at a charity shop in Gloucester city centre.
Army of Angels, in Westgate Street, is selling the table for £700.
It was made in just four days by an artist in Thailand who welded components from bikes and cars to make the table depicting the Alien from the film series.
It was brought to the UK by Traveller’s Finds, near Cheltenham, and is the second sculpture of its kind that they have donated to the charity store.
The first sculpture at the store, which was a depiction of 'Predator' from the movie of the same name, sold for over £700 before Christmas.
Cathy Sklenar, company secretary of Army of Angles, said: “We’ve had loads of people coming into the shop who are interested in it, and we’re really grateful to have these sculptures donated to us.”
The charity shop, which also has miniature models made in the same way by the artist, hopes to have a third table in stock later in the year.
Lyn Deacon, manager of the store, said: “The table has been an unbelievable help in getting people in. They’ve been really interested in how it’s made. We’re really grateful for the donation.”
