Richardson rockets to pip Parker to week's top score

TOM Richardson of White Hart (3E) had his second 90-plus score of the season.

He hit a 93 made up of 9, 7, 16, 9, 5, 7, 7, 14, 13, 6, while John Parker of Maisemore Hornets (P) who had a score of 92 made up of 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 7, 13, 12, 12, 9.

Parker's team-mates D. Merchant and M. Duffield scored 85 and 83 respectively, while Jon Brown of Famous Stampers (P) had a score of 82 made up of 7, 4, 5, 15, 7, 8, 7, 6, 15 ,8.

John and Mark Cornwell both had scores of 82 and B. Bailey of Fabulous Baker Boys (P) had a score of 83, with team-mate H. Thomas scoring 81.

Mark Payne of Dairymen (P) had a score of 80, D. Holdsworth of Tuffley Robins (P) hit 81 and team-mate A. Smith had an 80.

Dave Heath of Moody Blues (P) also had a score of 80 and teammate Brian Tandy had 79 without a spare.

Andy Benfield of Biji's (1N) just missed out on a certificate with a score of 89 made up of 9, 14, 8, 8, 9, 9, 6, 8, 9, 9 and team-mate Mike Carter had an 83.

Warren Cresswell of Oval Ball (1N) had a score of 87, A. Duggan of Matson Wolfhounds (1N) had a score of 79 with a beaver, N. Bolton of Hempsted (1S) had a score of 83 and J. Perkins of Arcadians (1S) had a score of 81.

Nick Stephens of Aquatics (1S) had a 77 with 14 and 13 spares. Tom Morley of Upleadon Wanderers (1S) had a first-ball flatner converted to a 16 spare and Don Hayward of Wickians (1E) had a score of 81.

Stuart Nelson of Newsboys (1W) had a score of 84 and team-mate Andy Etheridge had an 80. P. Matthews of More Lager (2N) had a first-ball flatner converted to a 15 spare and Sue Dowdall of Chequers (2N) had a 13 spare in her score of 70.

S. Maiden of Glos City Supporters (2E) just missed out on a certificate by scoring 89 made up of 8, 7, 14, 7, 6, 8, 9, 3, 15, 12. Andy Ford of Walls Splits (2E) had a score of 85, Chris Daye of Roysterers (2E) had a score of 82, A. Bebber of Painswick CC had a score of 84 and team-mate D. Paulson had an 80.

A. Hergest of St James Allstars (2W) had a score of 82, as did C. Keveren of Windmill Nomads (2W). K. Starkey of Olympians (3N) had a score of 80 and Chris Varley of Longford and Ash (3S) had a score of 81.

David Picton of GWR Loco (3E) had a score of 85, Nigel Dunn of Walnut Clubmen (3E) had a score of 82 and team-mate Clive Dunn had an 80.

Highest Individual Scores: Tom Richardson 93, John Parker 92.

Highest Team Scores: Premier & Division One - Maisemore Hornets 808; Divisions Two & Three - St James Allstars 707.
