Residents enjoy Forest of Dean District Council Chairman’s Christmas Carol Service

The proceeds from the service was going towards the church and two of the chairman's chosen charities

RESIDENTS enjoyed the Forest of Dean District Council Chairman’s Christmas Carol service on Wednesday, December 11.

The service was held at St Stephen’s Church in Belle Vue Road, Cinderford and was led by the Reverend Mike Barnsley.

Councillor Norman Stephens, Chairman of the District Council said: “It was a fantastic event with some great performances and has always been the case over the years.

“The pupils for Forest View primary school were very good.

“It is was a great service that was raising money for the church and Alzheimer’s Society and Forest Pulse which helps young people in the Forest.”

Tea, coffee, soft drinks and mince pies were served after the church service.
