Rain warnings have been issued for later today and overnight as the latest band of heavy downpours threatens to sweep in.
The Met Office has made the move but said it expects the bad weather to clear quickly tomorrow morning.
A spokesman said: "Periods of heavy rain will affect parts of Wales, south west England and the western slice of the English Midlands during Wednesday, clearing quickly on Thursday morning; the warning has been updated to include the western edge of the Midlands.
"The public should be aware of the potential for further flooding, especially in the areas which have been affected recently."
From lunchtime tomorrow, things should to start brighten up, although sporadic showers are still predicted until at least Sunday.
Flood alerts and warnings still remain in place in some parts of the county.
