Princes William and Harry are on a weekend shooting trip to hunt wild boar, according to a national newspaper.

The Royals will be hunting stag, boar and partridge just days before launching a wildlife campaign to save animals from being shot.

According to The Sun, the Princes are in Spain on a private estate this weekend.

But next week, they will back a campaign to save elephant, panda and rhino called Let's Unite for Wildlife.

The Royal are always going on about protecting wildlifbit seem to like shooting wild boar and deer, plus pheasent plus they also like a bit of fox hunting. Never understood why conservation groups use members of the Royal Family in their campaigns. When they seem to like killing animals for fun.

RoadWombat....I too am a Royalist, I mean, who in their right mind want a republic like France or Italy!....but I am struggling to see through William's blatant 'do as I say, not as I do' syndrome, as suffered by his stupid father.....'Save the world, stop driving your big cars.......'....'right driver, where did you leave my Aston?' Culling excess populations of boar, stag, even elephants is done without world leaders on a freebie, then going on TV and asking us not to buy ivory. It's just hypocritical, and most of us can see that.

I did used to like prince harry he always came across as a bit more in the real world than the other royals but it seems I was wrong In the 'real world' you speak of, unless populations of deer, boar etc. are managed they die horrible deaths through starvation and disease through overpopulation. It is nothing more than what many of you practice, I'm sure. If you have ever planted a row of cabbages and then thinned out the plants so the rest of them can thrive in their own, uncrowded space, it's exactly the same thing. Except, of course, that the 'cute 'n' cuddly' factor doesn't come into play. Or is it just an excuse to have a dig because of prejudice, political leanings or class bias, I wonder?

I am not a fan of William or Harry. I think they are a fuss over nothing and they like their predecessors are cruel. I am grateful however for their assistance in helping some animals but I they do give love with one hand and take it away with the other.
