A HEART-WARMING tale featuring Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks kicks off a jam-packed year of events at Gloucester Guildhall.
From January 6 to 9, Saving Mr Banks, the story of how the classic Mary Poppins book made it on to the screen will enchant audiences.
Hot on its heels, the Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival returns to the venue for its 21st year with music, dancing and authentic Cajun soul food set to bring the masses. It takes place from January 24 to 26 with musicians including Whiskey River and the Zydeco Diamonds.
In February, comedian Jimeoin tops the bill with a gig at the Guildhall on February 16.
Later in the month, 2-Tone legends The Selector perform their seminal album, Too Much Pressure followed by an encore of classic and contemporary hits to celebrate their extensive punk, ska and reggae back catalogue.
And mark your diaries for March 15 when folk-fusion band The Roving Crows perform their Paddy’s Day Extravaganza.
