Police have launched an investigation after a Cheltenham man was stabbed and left in a serious condition early this morning.
Police officers armed with tasers were at Fulbrook Close in Hester’s Way around 2.30am after reports a 30-old-man had been stabbed.
Neither the weapon, believed to be a knife, nor the male suspect have not been found.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with stab wounds. Police said he remains in a serious condition, and will require surgery for his wounds this morning.
Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Criminal Investigations Department is on the case and is urging witnesses to come forward.
