TOM Cruise thanked movie fans for making an early start to join him at the start of a red carpet race that took him from London to Paris and New York within 24 hours to promote his latest film, Edge of Tomorrow
And Citizen photographer Paul Nicholls was there to take these images outside the BFI Imax in central London shortly after 7am.
Paul said: “Tom spent about two-and-a-half hours with the crowd, talking to them and shaking their hands.
“He really took the time and trouble to spend time with people.”
The star told the crowd: “Thank you so much for being here at the earliest premiere ever.”
Cruise and his co-star Emily Blunt were in the capital for the first of three world premieres of Edge Of Tomorrow – a science fiction thriller in which they play soldiers fighting off an alien attack, only to be killed then forced to relive the battle over and over.
The film is now showing at UK cinemas.
