Partnership with Guidance Software to provide and support EnCase® Enterprise Solutions for UK Government and Enterprise network owners

Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (PRWEB UK) 24 March 2014

Phoenix Datacom, the UK's most technically competent provider of solutions and professional services to enhance the performance and security of networks and applications has partnered with Guidance Software – recognised industry leader for digital investigative solutions.

By partnering with Guidance Software, Phoenix Datacom Limited has responded to the growing demand demonstrated by its customers wishing to conduct an exhaustive search of all computer records to quickly locate unauthorised, suspicious and illegal activities across all endpoints on the network, as well as recovering any previously deleted files for use as evidence to support investigations, and where relevant, disciplinaries and hearings.

The EnCase® family of solutions provide automated incident response, computer forensics from the RAM and hard disk level, and litigation support for Government and Enterprise customers by taking what is in effect a photographic record of content held on a networked server or computer from a remote location.

David Taylor, Head of Government & Enterprise Operations at Phoenix Datacom said, "Our customers trust us to help them protect what is most important to them, so naturally we only partner with leaders in their areas of specialisation. Working with Guidance Software means we can provide our Government and Enterprise customers with the best tools and support required to protect themselves from potentially damaging activities and policy violations, including loss and theft of Intellectual Property and customer data, inappropriate material on the network and endpoints, email abuse, and of course harmful damage to their reputations."

Samuel Maccherola, Vice President of EMEA at Guidance Software said, "Protecting an organisation's Intellectual Property, customer information and its own reputation is of paramount importance, so knowing and being able to prove what happened and who carried out the event(s) are equally as important. With Phoenix Datacom's cyber-security expertise and experience, we have a partner in an excellent position to supply and support EnCase® to Government Department and Enterprise customers in the UK & Republic of Ireland, and we are therefore delighted to join Phoenix Datacom's Cyber-Security ecosystem."

Phoenix Datacom will be demonstrating the value of Guidance Software's EnCase® digital forensics solutions on its stand (G30) at the InfoSecurity Europe event at the end of April, at Earls Court in West London.
