A DAD and his son accused of stealing diesel fuel will go on trial later this year.
Michael James Sparrow, 30, and his dad of the same name, 62, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Both entered not guilty pleas to a single charge each of stealing diesel fuel of an unknown value which belonged to Galtec Ltd in Witcombe.
They are alleged to have committed the offence together between October 9 and 12 last year, contrary to the Theft Act of 1968.
Sparrow senior, of Green Acre, Brockworth and Sparrow junior of Wren Terrace, Innsworth.
Both spoke only to confirm their names and addresses and to formally enter not guilty pleas.
A trial date of June 20 was fixed at the same court.
Unconditional bail for both men continues.
