Olympic medallists will be at the Jumping with the Stars showjumping event at The Hartpury Arena, Hartpury, from Friday to Sunday.
The programme includes a Small and Big Tour for the top competitors and a two tier Amateur Tour.
There are three days of opportunity for riders to put their horses to the test with a prize fund of over £16,000 for the weekend.
The Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular is a run up to Olympia and amongst the large number of entries received are Olympic team gold medallists, Peter Charles and Ben Maher, bronze Olympic medallist Cian O'Connor, also Geoff Billington, Laura Renwick and Tina Fletcher together with various members of the Whittaker family – James, George and William.
The competition will run over three days starting on Friday afternoon at 3pm with the Southwick Farm Warm up Handicap followed by the Cheffings Equine Small Tour 1st Leg and then the Albion Saddle makers Big Tour 1st Leg.
Fences for these classes will start at challenging heights of 1.30m and 1.35m. Course designer Paul Conner will test the competitors by building big bold courses to suit the very high level of entries.
Saturday morning starts at 10 am with the Superflex Small Tour Grand Prix.
The final Saturday morning class will be the Dodson & Horrell Big Tour Grand Prix with a prize fund of £6,000.
On Saturday afternoon the first competition on the schedule for amateurs, is the Henley and Barr Amateur Tour Open Warm up Handicap. This is followed by the Cushionbed Amateur 'A' Tour 1st Leg then the Shearwater Insurance 'B' Tour 1st leg.
The second leg of theseTour classes will run on Sunday starting at 9.30 am with the FAB Horses Open Warm up followed by the Childeric Amateur 'A' Tour Grand Prix and finishing with the Holiday Inn Amateur 'B' Tour Grand Prix.
