New boss at Cheltenham Racecourse is announced

Ian Renton has today been named as the new boss of Cheltenham Racecourse.
He will also have responsibility for Exeter, Warwick and Wincanton Racecourses in his role as South West regional director of Jockey Club Racecourses, who own Cheltenham.
Renton is currently the managing director of Arena Racecourses and is expected to start his new role at Cheltenham in October.
Edward Gillespie announced in April he was standing from his role as managing director at Cheltenham after 32 years at the home of jump racing.
