RESIDENTS in Lower High Street, Cheltenham will soon have to make do without the Colonel's chicken.

KFC will be moving to Pittville Street, and will close their current premises on Lower High Street when the new restaurant opens.

All members of staff at the current restaurant will be relocated to the new restaurant, which will create 20 new jobs.

A spokesperson for KFC said: "The new restaurant will offer our customers an improved dining experience, and we're looking forward to welcoming them to the new restaurant when we open."

nikonman2010, At Kentucky Fried Sparrows - the people you speak of will be only ones to be able to work for just £5 an hour and are content to live in someone's non-residental 'don't tell the council or they will invoice the owner with council tax' outbuilding where the residents are packed in to collect the maximum in rent that many residents have to sleep standing up!

I'll give that a miss - the chickens seem to be the size of sparrows and the bargain bucket is ideal for throwing up afterwards!
