The former BVM Moto site in Stroud’s London Road is to become DIY store Topps Tiles.

The former motorcycle garage, workshop and forecourt - a landmark on the main A419 road through Stroud – has been snapped up by national DIY chain Topps Tiles.

BVM Moto now has a new home and has re-opened at Merretts Mills Industrial Estate in Woodchester.

Julian Capewell from Bruton Knowles which managed the sale of the London Road site, said: “There was a great deal of interest in this property from potential buyers both local and national.”

The 0.29 acre site near Stroud town centre is a purpose-built detached building comprising a showroom area with glazed frontage and large stores area along with workshop and forecourt.

The well-known Stroud-based motor cycle dealership, which supplied bikes of all types for over 30 years, ceased trading at the site in January.
