BROOM sticks and dustbins are just a few items used by youngsters at a music workshop.
SoundSketch is a fresh look at physical theatre launched in Gloucester.
The workshops are run by husband and wife Stuart and Stacey McMorran, a taster workshop will be held next month.
It is aimed at children between seven and 14, the classes use household and industrial items to create pulsing rhythms, using drama and movement.
Stacey and Stuart moved back to the UK after four years teaching in Qatar and are setting up their new business in the county.
Stacey said: “We have had a very positive response from local schools keen to take us up on our offer of a free workshop morning.
“We also now have plans to run a musical and physical summer camp with Ola Samba, who runs Samba workshops and performances to schools.
“A free taster workshop will be held on February, 8 at Gloucestershire Resource Centre, from 10am.”
The Gloucester courses will begin on March 1 for six weeks on Saturdays and a similar course will also take place in Cheltenham on Sundays.
