WELLY wanging, tug-of-war, top music and plenty of cider saw thousands enjoying themselves at the Westbury Cider Festival over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Set in the bright rural setting of Westbury-on-Severn, the festival provided a mix of great music and tasty cider as well as catering for all ages with fun and games.

This year local legends EMF headlined Saturday, joined by other Gloucestershire groups The Shyteds and Duke.

Sunday saw five-piece band Missing Andy headlining, supported by tribute act Kings Ov Leon as well as county-based performer Vince Freeman, who had recent success on BBC One's The Voice.

There was also a wide range of more than 30 ciders to try as well as a DJ tent, full range of draft beers and lagers, hog roast, barbecue, fairground rides and skittles.
