An incident occurred early this morning at local transport charity Lydney Dial-A-Ride's premises at The Bus Station in Lydney.

A young male entered the restricted access area and stole approximately £300 in fares and donations from the charities main office at around 8.20am this morning. Slim built, wearing a dark coloured bomber jacket and short dark hair combed forward, the man was then seen leaving the premises moving towards a nearby supermarket.

The Dial-A-Ride charity provides vital transport to the elderly, disabled and isolated in and around the Forest, and without which, many local residents would be unable to access the basic amenities they need.

The charity urges any individuals with any information regarding the incident to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 69 01/08/13.
