AS WORLD cup excitement reaches fever pitch, football fans will be able to experience a little piece of Brazil in Gloucester.
The Road to Rio will be at the Gloucestershire Motor Show at Highnam Court, in Gloucester, on June 7 and June 8.
Football fans will be able to meet Fuleco, the Brazil 2014 mascot, send the England team a message via a unique photo booth and play games to win official FIFA World Cup merchandise.
The road trip, organised by sponsors Continental Tyres is visiting locations across the country ahead of the world cup.
Nick Broady, of the Gloucestershire Motor Show, said: “We are excited to host the Road to Rio roadshow.
“There are many other activities and entertainment for children and the whole family throughout the day.”
Visitors to the show will also enjoy hundreds of classic cars on display, as well as all the manufacturers showcasing current models.
There will be a fashion show each day and a shopping mall for the ladies while celebrity chefs Phil Vickery and Fiona Fullerton will provide cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
There will also be a chance for one lucky fan to win a pair of tickets to the FIFA World Cup Final by tweeting a picture of the roadshow truck when they spot it with #contiroadtorio.
The Road to Rio roadshow began in Liverpool in March, and was launched by former Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler.
Over seven weeks the Continental roadshow will visit hundreds of locations across England and give tens of thousands of fans the chance to get involved.
Robbie said: “It is great that Continental are doing this, it can really unite everyone to get behind our boys, sending them messages of support and letting everyone feel they can be part of the team.”
