A teenager has suffered a minor stab wound after he was robbed in Gloucester Park.
The 24 year-old victim was approached by a man and youth shortly after 3.30pm yesterday. The man, described as black, in his early 20s, of slim build, with a street name and wearing a yellow hooded top, is alleged to have demanded the victim hand over his headphones and any other items he had.
The victim ignored him and was chased into the skate park area, where he was assaulted by the same man. He suffered a minor stab wound to his lower back and was treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who can identify the offender or has any information about the case to call 101, quoting incident 264 of December 10.
Alternatively information can also be given anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org. In some cases Crimestoppers offer rewards of up to £1000 where information leads to a conviction.
