APPRENTICES showed how they are getting the skills they need for a career with a growing firm.
Conservative city MP Richard Graham visited Allcooper in Hucclecote Road, Gloucester on Friday, to learn more about the firm's latest apprenticeships.
Security firm chief executive Roman Cooper leads on the apprenticeship sector with Gloucestershire First.
He met IT apprentice Tom Jones, 22, and apprentice engineer William Emmens, 17.
"They were both very positive about their experiences," said Mr Graham. "They were quite professional and committed, and that's what we want.
"As the company expands, I have no doubt they will be taking on more apprentices."
"It gives us great pride to give enthusiastic young people a platform on which they can build a career," said Roman.
"We're also delighted with the support we have received from Gloucestershire College, who have put great effort and energy into providing a security systems apprenticeship."
