Head coach Leon Liggett is determined to stay loyal to the members of his Coney Hill squad who have stuck with his side’s frustrating campaign ahead of the visit of Clevedon on Saturday (2.30pm).

Liggett saw his side trounced by South West One West table-toppers Cleve on Saturday but is eager to keep faith with the players who have stood up and played their part this season.

“We went down there and we knew it was always going to be difficult,” he said. “The boys battled well and put in a valiant effort. We had two or three drop out on the day.

“Spirits are still high. We’ve got to carry on and stick with the lads who have been there.”

Liggett will welcome back vital experience in the shape of Sid King while Luke Morgan returns on the wing for Saturday’s game against opponents who have won only five of their 20 league games this season.
