PATIENTS should look out for a new leaflet telling them about Stroud hospital services.
Stroud Hospitals League of Friends will be delivering more than 31,000 of the leaflets in January to homes in and around Stroud.
It highlights the range of services at the Stroud Hospitals provided by Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust and consultants from Gloucester and Cheltenham to encourage residents to use Stroud Hospital.
It also gives information about the activities of the League of Friends and how it uses donations to provide equipment and services that will make a difference to treatment.
David Miller, chairman of the League of Friends said: “The League of Friends is very grateful for the fine support we receive from the people of our community.
“This informative leaflet asks for your support by joining or donating to the Friends and it outlines the range of fine services available at the Stroud Hospitals.
“Please choose to use these services when you need consultations or treatment.”
Ruth Darling, communications manager for Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust said: “We receive wonderful support from the League of Friends in all sorts of way, and welcome the extra publicity this excellent leaflet provides to give local people more information about the services provided by their community hospital.”
Produced by The Isaac Partnership Ltd, Stroud and printed by Wheatley Printers Ltd, Thrupp, the leaflets will also be displayed in the Stroud Hospitals and GPs’ surgeries.
