Gloucestershire potters Rob Milkins and Jack Lisowski are through to the last 32 of the Betfair Shoot-Out in Blackpool.

Gloucester's Milkins beat Ali Carter 43-30 in the competition, which is a fast version of the game played in one frame and lasting no more than ten minutes.

Milkins, who was runner-up last year, made a break of 15 and kept the lead to reach the next round.

Earlier, Lisowski, from Churchdown, beat Adam Duffy 61-35. Lisowski made a break of 38 to get out in front, and finished the game scoring 20.

Both will play again on Saturday evening at the Blackpool Tower Circus Arena in a quest to land the £32,000 top prize in Sunday's final.
