Indie rock trio Little Comets will headline Gloucester's Summer Sound Festival, it has been announced.
The free, one day event is held annually in Gloucester Park from 1pm on July 19.
This year's line-up features a stellar mix of established touring acts, alongside rising national stars and the hottest local talent.
Also on the bill are The Sunshine Underground, The Xcerts, Brother & Bones, Jake Isaac, The Telescreen, Karima Francis, Sons & Lovers, Katie Sky, The Cadbury Sisters and Canary Swing.
Dan Charles, programming and marketing manager at Gloucester Guildhall, said: "We are so excited about this year's line-up and are confident it offers something for everyone.
"Whether you're into rock, indie, folk, pop, singer/songwriters, or dance music – you'll find it on this year's line-up."Summer Sound is always such a fantastic event - where else can you see live music of this calibre for free?

Little Comets are an indie rock trio described as the UK's Vampire Weekend.
They have released two acclaimed albums, a series of singles and they have been championed by BBC Radio 1 DJs Zane Lowe, Sara Cox, Huw Stephens and Greg James.
