World famous productions of Jesus Christ Superstar will be coming to Gloucester Cathedral in March to celebrate the centenary year of the Gloucester Operatic and Drama Society.

It will be the first time the spectacular musical has been performed in its complete version in a UK cathedral by a full adult cast. Including Jon Moses of ITV Superstar fame, Daniel Haslam, Lee-Marie Stokes, Paul O'Neill and opera diva Rebecca Wylde.

Jesus Christ Superstar has a 200 strong cast including the 55 piece Queens Philharmonic Orchestra, created by Paul Leinthall-Cowman and Musical Director Sue Black for this one off special production.

GODS is the longest running charity arts organisation in Gloucester and the professional production is being organised to celebrate its landmark year.

    honslknjklyt, those who can do and those who can't become critics. It sounds like a professional advert because most of the principals ARE professional. The ensemble singing from Voices Unlimited is awesome under the leadership of vocal coach Ria Keen, and the amateur principals are extremely experienced and talented. This will be a must see production.
