Hop on down to Hucclecote Meadows this Easter

Join in the fun this Easter at Hucclecote Meadows.Younger visitors to the meadows on Saturday 12th April, between 1pm and 3pm, will get to take part in an Easter bunny hunt as well as make and take home fun crafts.
Organisers, Gloucester City Council, are also asking those who come along to make the day more memorable by coming along in fancy dress. But remind those who do, to wear suitable footwear for exploring the meadows in search of the Easter bunnies.
Councillor Sajid Patel, Cabinet Member for Environment said: "Hucclecote Meadows are fantastic all year round, but the Council's Countryside Rangers pull out all the stops during the annual Easter event.
"The large flat area makes exploring the meadows easy to do for all ages and abilities, no matter what the weather or the occasion. 
"I would urge families looking for something to do over the weekend to explore the area and to take advantage of the Easter activities taking place."
The event is priced at £1 per child, accompanying adults can take part free of charge. There is no need to book just drop into the meadows between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday April 12th 2014.
The main entrance to Hucclecote Meadows is located on Lobley's Drive, opposite Laxton Road.
