  • "TOO MANY CHILDREN": Heather Frost.

JOBLESS Heather Frost, 34, has been branded 'lazy' by her own dad who said she has too many children.

The Churchdown mum-of-11 is moving into a £400,000 taxpayer funded six-bedroom 'mansion' in Tewkesbury.

But her dad Royston Frost, 72, from Tewkesbury, said his daughter should have "got off her backside" and found employment.

Royston, who worked from the age of 14 until he retired five years ago, said: "I didn't tell my youngest daughter to have 11 kids.

"I tried to stop her at five but you can never tell her what to do, she don't listen to nobody.

"Since she had her first when she was 15, she hasn't been able to work because she's had to look after all them kids.

"She should have got off her backside and got a job like the rest of us.

"I can't stand what she's become. She's lazy – I didn't raise her to be lazy."

Roy does not believe his daughter should move into the new six-bed property, but reckons her current house would be suitable with some alterations.

He said: "What they should do is, the council should properly make those two houses into one, and give the £400,000 house to a family that really needs it."

Dad-of-three Roy worked as a farm labourer before joining the RAF, when he was 20.

He spent five years in the armed forces, and three years serving as an aircraftsman at a base in China. Roy said: "She's on all the benefits she can get.

"She said she wouldn't have any more kids after Tilly, but that's not true. She would have had as many as she could.

"Don't get me wrong, she's a good mum and her kids are always clean – she just has too many of them."

It has also emerged Heather once rented a £1,000-per-month stone cottage in Upper Lydbrook, in the Forest, which was a former vicarage.

The mismanagement of those in power and of the rich has. Let's not forget who owns media outlets and what they need to be written.

On another thread Angel Frost gave details of her Mothers charitable efforts. http://tinyurl.com/agtubvs What I find disturbing is that if a Heather has the time to organise proms and other charitable events she clearly has time to work. I have cancer and do lots of fund raising and I know how much time and effort goes into these things. I find light relief in knowing the family are community minded but yet again they have completely missed the point. My main point is that the only people the council are obliged to house is Heather and any dependants ie children of non working age (16 and below unless in education). The children that have already starting breeding should be housed independently with their illegitimate offspring. If they are old enough to breed they are old enough to take responsibility for their new families. Also Jake isn't married to Heather so why is he entitled to her benefits or have I missed a change in common law status? Since when did the Council feel the need to build commune style homes for families that could be housed in one normal council house? That would be possible once you remove the family members that are not entitled to live there. Is jake is entitled to live in the new 6 bed house because he is the Father of 6 of the children? Are we supposed to house the other 3 Dads too if they decide they need a house as well? If you haven't already done so please sign the online petition to prevent the council from giving them the 6 bedroom brand new house. They don't need it and it is a total waste of tax payers money. http://tinyurl.com/bc6kgus

'by glosvegas1Saturday, February 23 2013, 5:55PM "There are quite a few people around gloucester who find the best way of avoiding working is to have lots of children so that the government can't force them into work! There is a girl who lives by me on beaufort road who has five children from four different fathers claims every benefit she can and has now has her council house extended to fit all her children in including a brand new shower room and extended kitchen. She is always out for tea and the kids all have i phones etc how when she claims benefit? It makes my blood boil that people like these can live for free and still afford to buy big flat screen tvs for all the bedrooms plus virgin media boxes for all rooms including the babies! When is this all going to stop because the average working person has just about had enough of this!" another person who thinks that bringing up children is somehow 'not work' why not try bringing up a large family yourself and then criticise others for laziness?

typical male attitude from mr frost just assuming that bringing up 11 children is a doddle. I wonder if he helped with his children or whether his wife did all the hard work.

Freeradical, I appreciate that you and your Mother have had false allegations levelled against you, so I understand where you are coming from. I am pretty much the sort of person who believes there are always two sides to a story, and all is not black and white. But I also know that no 16 year old could possibly earn enough to look after a pony, they are not that cheap, and I know how much vets bills for one cat are, they nearly broke me. There is more cost wise to looking after a pony, other than stabling bedding and feed, which is why horses and ponies are generally owned by people with a good income. Just because Angel says these things not true, does not mean to say thats the case, 16 year olds can tell tall stories, my Daughter did at that age. Also rather than filling her time looking after a pony, she should be filling her time with furthering her eduction, to give herself a chance of employment when she leaves school, her spelling on her posts is very poor for someone of her age. It also doesn't alter the fact that anyone living on benefits shouldn't have a pony, or the amount of pets that they do have. That is not what benefits are for, and many people who find themselves on benefits are losing their jobs, have been told to get rid of theirs.

Bonzaharris, just because something has been 'well publicised', that doesn't make it true. Angel has said that the horse is hers and the flying lessons story has been made up. I discovered just over a week ago that there was a rumour among my neighbours that I was a wealthy landlord with rental properties in Cheltenham. I used to live in Cheltenham a long time ago, but I don't own property there and I have no idea where the rumour came from. Still, if it had got into the media, it would now be considered to be FACT. About 17 years ago, there was another rumour in my road that my mother had been banned from driving, when in fact she had given up due to cataracts, and had had a clean licence her entire adult life from her teens till age 69. Just because someone makes some allegation, that doesn't make it fact. While some of the information about Heather and her family is true, much of it is clearly fabricated or exaggerated. Just try to imagine how you would defend yourself if there was a media campaign against you. Would you stay silent? Would you speak out and deny the lies? Would you hire a solicitor and take legal action against the media for harassment or defamation?

Some people just can't even grasp the arithmetic, so I suppose expecting them to understand the moral necessity of the work ethic for the good of society in general, just demonstrates just how far we've fallen in 50 years. http://tinyurl.com/ao95s7w

It has now been well publicised how well off she is that she can afford flying lessons for her partner at £115 per hour for his crimbo pressie, numerous pets, not forgetting the horse or course, and that the new house is an eco house, so will save money on running costs. Can we expect the authorities to go through her outgings with a fine toothcomb, and reduce her benefits accordingly, by taking into account that flying lessons, and the bills for her many pets and horse are not neccessities that should be covered by her benefits. Also her jobless lorry driver partner, has he tried signing up to driving agencies for work ? My lorry driver husband is in the line for redundancy this coming week. He has already made a phone call and has work lined up with an agency if the worse happens. So whats Jake Martins excuse ??

I don't think so, Charlespk. This is one family that perhaps a million or more taxpayers are being asked to support. We are going to Hell in a handcart, but it's more because of our 'me-first' culture than the odd large wageless family.
